Last Monday night we had our Joint Meeting with Torquay RC. It was a terrific night at a great location. Thanks to Torquay Club for hosting such a successful meeting. We heard about the new surf lifesaving club house which is being built at Jan Juc in the next 18 months. The Torquay club is fundraising to build a a wheel chair access track which will run past the club house and the new planned toilet block and will link up to the track to Bells Beach. They are going to sell planks which will have the purchasers name engraved. If you are interested in purchasing a plank contact the Torquay Rotary Club.
Torquay are having their annual Book Fair on the Australia Day weekend.
