Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun, 25% of the year is over.
Last Tuesday Chris and I visited Geelong East to hear a very interesting presentation on membership; Chris will give you more information on Wednesday. Several other clubs were present and all were very impressed.
The new venue for their meetings is The East Geelong Community Hub, it is a very modern and excellent building, well worth a look, and you can visit there for a coffee, the corner McKillop & Humble Sts.

Jim Baker, Rotary Club of Corio Bay, spoke about his time in Afghanistan in charge of fuel supply to the then busiest airport in the world. The numbers are mind boggling. Jim spoke for Twenty minutes and answered many questions but I can tell you there is an enormous amount he left out.
We were able to meet Jim because Jim and I both attended RLI, the benefits this excellent institute has on training and fostering connection between clubs cannot be ignored, if you can, I strongly suggest you attend.
Thanks to Lesley for further research on the Centurion question, she has discovered a lot of questions that need answers.
DON’T FORGET, WE HAVE A MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY.
We will be deciding if we wish to continue having the first Wednesday of every month off or have a fellowship low key meeting in the first week.
