ROTARY 2016 BULLETIN 13 OCTOBER 12TH & 14TH
A busy week, first a visit by DG Stephen and partner Gaye accompanied by Ass’t. DG Ross Taylor. A copy of DG Stephen’s report will be circulated during the next meeting (the AGM).
Second the Dinner auction; once again Paul and Rhonda have amazed us, congratulations and thank you.
A very very special thank you to Auctioneer Colin Beale and Sharyn 36 OUT OF 37 what an effort.
Thank you to all those who participated by getting items, setting up, attending and spending.
There is no doubt that had it not been for the participation of three other clubs, Geelong East, Highton and Torquay the outcome would have been very different.
When other clubs need our support let’s GIVE IT.
ROTARY is many clubs and many people but it is one Rotary.
Third LIZ FAGAN is Australian Rotaractor of the year (we sponsored Liz to the awards in Sydney) and our local Rotaract Club of South Barwon is Rotaract Club of the year because of their work at North Geelong Secondary College.
Congratulations to Liz and the Club, a great effort.
This week is the AGM and it is to be followed by a short period of fellowship then a Board meeting.
We would like to commence the Board meeting as early as possible therefore ALL REPORTS (IF ANY) MUST RELATE ONLY TO CURRENT ROTARY MATTERS.
