Wow! It was great to have the best attendance this year for our busy meeting last night. Our guest speaker, Mark Woodhouse showed photos of the gruelling Pedal 4 Prostate ride completed in March this year and told of the plans for next year’s ride. We were pleased to present Mark with $1000 to support the P4P which raises money and awareness for prostate cancer - the most diagnosed cancer in Australia. Our AGM revealed that we ended the last Rotary year in very good financial state and the ‘volunteers’ for positions in the 2016-17 year.
A short Board meeting approved a donation of $500 for Christmas Hams for the Foodbank meals program.

Since our last meeting we have run 2 successful BBQs. Thank you to Bob for all his organisation and time in attendance once again. Also, thank you to members - Ineke, Graeme S, Ken, Colin, David W David C, Ray, Jan, Mick, Sandy, Greg, Bill, Pam and partners and friends Sandra W, Trish C, Devi T, Ben & Pat Wright, Merv Poyner, Keith & Mary Laugharne, Sandra w, Phil Vernon, Chris Fagan for your help as chefs, servers and cashiers.
Thank you also to David W, Bill and Don who completed the work for Judy Stevenson.
The Cooke family travelled to Hamilton for Bella’s final meeting prior to departure to Germany. Thank you to her counsellor Ken for attending also and your help and guidance in preparing Bella for her big adventure.
Congratulations and a big thank you to Pam for all her work in producing the Gifting Program brochure. It looks terrific. Please support Pam now, by distributing the brochures to other Rotarians, friends, family and consider using the program yourself when you are considering a special occasion gift.
