President Bill Trengrove Report
ROTARY 2016   BULLETIN 8    31st August

A short meeting tonight (I will eventually get it right, sorry Peter) when a very modest Leon spoke about his life and played down his many achievements in the fundraising arena.
Sad news from Perko about the demise of the foodbank a good cause we donated to recently.
Next meeting (Sept. 14th) we will be inducting Gary Clark so please bring your partners.
A Board meeting was held and the new brochure was finalised. Thanks again Chris.
Lengthy discussion re “Centurion” donations. Our Treasurer will reveal all soon.
Barwon Valley School asked for a donation for 2 special pedal karts @ $900.00 each. The Board has approved 1.
I and several Board members have concerns about taking 1 week off per month and at the meeting we discussed returning to meeting every week with one week being a social and informal meeting. Because Rotary now only requires a 50% attendance we feel it would be better if Rotary is available every week for its’ members. Please consider every week, you will be asked to vote.

OCTOBER     AUCTION MONTH     WE WILL MEET EVERY WEEK EXCEPT GEELONG CUP
          DON’T FORGET: PARTNERS 14TH SEPTEMBER
          See you next week, Bill.
