Bob spoke of Lostwithiel having a population of 2800 and beautiful surrounding farming countryside.  The RC has 38 members and they meet at the Royal Oak Pub. Fundraising activities include Pheasant shooting events, Beer Festivals and the Town Carnival.
Bob and Toop spoke of the Lostwithiel Memory Cafe which has been run by Rotary in Cornwall for dementia patients and their carers. Headspace Luncheon
The Headspace luncheon is on the 3rd of May at the Geelong Football Club $150 per head. - see Paul for information about tickets

Science and Engineering Challenge.  Hold the date as we will need some volunteers to help out at this event at Deakin University 3-4 April.

Mock Interviews
We had an email from the Lutheran College asking for volunteers to help with interviews to be held on Thursday 13th June (pm) and Friday 14th June (all day). Please contact John McGibbon if you are able to assist.

What's this whoozin????
'whoozin'  is an app that enables us to collect RSVP's to events and meetings in a very easy accessible way. It provides a report for simple administration of these events.
Jordy will be sending you whoozin invites via email.
It is important to know that you have to reply to whoozin to be included in the catering numbers for the meeting or event being advertised.  You are not automatically counted in - you have to reply.  Please respond to whoozin invites as quickly as possible and no later than the Tuesday before the event.  If you do not have access to email - please respond to Rice Village in the usual way.  If you have any questions about whoozin please discuss with Jordy or Cookie.

Meeting Attendance.
If you are unable to access 'whoozin' please remember to inform  RICE VILLAGE  by Tuesday prior to the meeting if not attending to stop food waste and the unnecessary effort our  volunteers. Check blue book for the number or use the app!
